RE: what happens in front of the judge
I am so sorry Limbo. What is their excuse for stopping payment on your meds? As Bummer said they are just playing their stupid games and there should be something that can be done to stop them. They know the laws and they know what they are supposed to pay; they just enjoy the power they have over us. I would like to meet some of them face to face one day. All I keep thinking about is what my mom used to say, you do somebody wrong and it always comes back to you. I also believe that if you do right that eventually you will be blessed as well. Limbo, you do alot of good on this forum and I think you will be blessed for it. You help alot of people very unselfishly and it means alot. All we can do for you is pray for your pain to ease and be here for you when you need us.

RE: what happens in front of the judge
Thanks Gene, I'm already with Workers Comp RX, this is the third time they tried this. The first time I found Comp RX, and they fill my scripts while I'm on litigation at n/c, and if I lose I don't have to pay back. But that's not the Point, I want these folks Paid, they have done nothing but good for me and they deserve their Money!! The second Time they did this we filed for Penalty and they Paid, so I played nice and dropped the Penalty Petition. They have a Big Surprise Coming this time, I'm Pissed, and I'm not dropping the Penalty even if they Pay!! I've had enough when it comes to them, they have pushed my last button, and they might have well of Bit a Wild Cat on the Ass this time, because now, no matter how long how it takes, I WANT IT ALL!!! I was willing to compromise before, but after 3 Years, 10 Hearings, 11 Petitions, I'm not playing Nice Guy any More!! I've had enough, and if I have to wait ten Years, I am going to fight for every Penny if I have to go before the State Supreme Court. They have caused me so much of a hassle, My Attorney who has been at this for a while, said to me Today he has never had a case with this much Evidence and Petitions in the first round of a case in his career!!
![]() Thanks for the info. also Bummer! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to exclude you from my Post, I'm just so Mad right now I am not thinking straight. Thanks Again My Friend!!

RE: what happens in front of the judge
I don't blame you...Go for it and don't back down from the jerks. I don't understand how they think they can keep getting away with this sh-t. In my case they didn't pay for the back docs and meds that they sent me to cause they didn't like the way the docs talked. It is ridiculous for them to think that we will just keep getting pushed around and not push back. I hope you get everything you deserve Limbo and I hope they have to pay through the nose. I wish there was someway you could sue for pain and suffering or something for the harassment that you are having to go through.
Stay strong and give it to them good. |

RE: what happens in front of the judge
Limbo
This reminds me of something my ex-husband said to me when we divorced. He told me,†I treated you like I did, because I could." I think the same goes for insurance companies, they know they can get away with something, and then they take it to the mile. Okay, time for class, Self-Advocacy 101. |

RE: what happens in front of the judge
Hi Limbo, I agree with genegene, go after them with everything you've got. Thats what I'm gonna do, now that I have a lawyer working for me. WC adjuster also started rejecting some of my meds.(so I pay for them and send the reciepts to the lawyer).
She has my treating doctor under review for his treatment and prescriptions for me. When she requested a letter of medical necessity from him, she said that it wasn't good enough for her and too vague. They recently suspended my TPD, saying it was because the wages I lost were from going to appnts. to treat my injury. I had no choice as to certain appnts. not having anything available after work. My lawyer has filed a petition to have my TPD reinstated, along with some other things. They sent me for an IME in July and he was so biased and definetly for the WC ins.company, he and the NCM talked like old friends. He did a total inaccurate report and wrote up new work restrictions, going much higher than my Dr's.orders. They told my employer that I was to do the new restrictions from thier IME, but my doctor, lawyer, therapist and the doctor who just did a 2nd. EMG said not to, I could possibly make my injury worse. My employer said they will have to write me up if I refuse, and I told them that I understood that, but I have to go by my doctor's orders, I'm not taking a chance on going back in time as far as my recovery, I only want to go forward. I'm now waiting for the new EMG report to come, so I can send it to my lawyer. My PT talked to my doctor and said that I wasn't ready for an FCE yet, but they started adding mild conditioning during therapy. I'm so sorry that you are having so many difficulties, and I hope they get resolved soon. I haven't been in this battle as long as most of you, injury was in Nov.06. But the last few months with all the bull, I haven't been able to handle it well. I have actually had times where I would go to PT and would have to talk to my therapist privately in a room for a few minutes first and cry, before I could even start my therapy. Most of the time I would find out the newest thing that WC was pulling near the end of my work shift, and with the pain, medicine and stress controlling my emotions, if I talked to the therapist and was able to vent, then I could go thru my therapy. I found out the hard way, that If I tried to just keep it inside and not discuss the newest problem, I would break down and start crying in the middle of an exercise, or worse yet, I would appear to get an attitude and get snippy. So sorry about such a long reply, I truly am glad I found this group and hope we all can stick together and give each other support and encouragement. I have no problem if anyone wants to email me, if nothing else, you can always just vent and get things off of your mind. Take care and hope things work out. Vickie |

RE: what happens in front of the judge
I'm sorry too. I just hate to think of so many people in such needless pain. These situations really test your faith. When you are hurting so badly it is good to vent to someone who is going through the same things. My family knows what I am going through but I get the feeling sometime that they think I should just shake it off and go on. When you are not going through it yourself it is hard to understand how this stuff can completely take over your life. It is just so darn frustrating.
