Lower work hours after WC filed

I turned in a workers comp reluctantly. My boss said I should do this but he can't tell me what to do. Now I have only had 18 hour scheduled for the last two weeks. I only have one restriction put on me by my doctor and can do most of my job. I wish I had never turned it in.

I sent the boss an email asking why my hours are less? I will wait to see what he says first. Thanks. I have not been approved and have had one contact from wc saying a local person will call me. Which no one has.
