Defense atty called me asking what to do with the claim...

Recently, I dismissed my attorney. After the defense atty received the dismissal notice he called to ask if i was dismissing my case too or just my atty. I dont want to dismiss my case until I give myself time to see if I heal completely. I still am under doctor's care but working. Any suggestions on how to proceed from here, does the insurance carrier/defense have to honor my request to keep claim open longer, can they demand I close or settle?

it's totally up to you to decide if you you want to keep the claim open and whether to see the AME.

1171 thanks for the good advice. I wanted to close this case out as soon as I returned to work but ever since I havent had any physical therapy in the last week, I feel worse, I realize now that I need to continue getting therapy to get better so thats why I wondered if I could still go to therapy without closing or settling the claim and is it my primary doctor that decides if I need to continue therapy then?
