RE: Worker's Compensation, PI, and Bills
guys we have lived in this wc world a very long time.....its very hard on the newbys to hear not only have they lost their career but maybe every thing they have worked for up to that point.....fear takes over and we do and say things we wouldnt normally....we have all been in that spot when we find out not only will we never work in our field again but we will live in near poverty because we got up and went to work like a responsiable adult...it is a bitter pill to swallow and for men it seems to be extra diffacult to choke down.....chaagodiscs was a orchestra director and now hes in a wheelchair...not excussing his bad manners just explaining his pill was a partically bitter pill to swallow....spread some love its christmas my friends
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Worker's Compensation, PI, and Bills
Jayne, your final sentence about spreading the love looks particularly poignant above your "Don't Retreat....Reload" signature. LOL
chicagoHdiscs, you are correct. You are free to respond, as long as I choose to allow it (how's that for passive aggressive?), but any intelligent being would recognize that coming on a forum such as this and stamping your little feet like a tempermental artist will only yield so much in positive results. 1171 answered your questions accurately. Your (free) response makes you look "pompously uninformed". Besides, I have questions about the sincerity of your story. Your anal focus on 1171, combined with your comment that this board has been taken over by fools and idiots leads me to believe that you may have had prior experence with this board, perhaps under a different identity (Before we were all fools and idiots). If you can't be happy here, I suggest you go somewhere where you can be. I grant you permission to freely respond.....
