medicare set a side question?
I received the quote of the amount of my medicare set a side & I also received the "seed money" amount. What I'd like to know is "say I use the money accordingly & they are making their payments & I die. Then my family gets what's in the account BUt what if the set a side amount was only half of the written agreement. Does my family receive the balance or does the ins. co just keep the balance? TY for your time.

" they are making their payments"
who is the "they"?
it depends on what the other half is for and your state laws.
you did not post your state or put it in your profile and
without knowing your state no one can answer.

RE: Medicare set a side question?
In my experience there is always an agreement. Check the agreement, since it could be set up to either go to your estate or simply end with your death.

RE: medicare set a side question?
Sorry; They = Ins. co. & I'm from Pa.
Mr. Belt; ty I do have an agreement but I haven't had time to read it much yet. (my son just died unexpectedly--- we called for help but things went horribly wrong & reading anything right now wouldn't sink in too well) But thank you both for your help.
