WC Insurance Increase California
The Workers' Comp Ins Rating Bureau is now asking for a 27.7% premium increase in Calfiornia. They are justifying this request by stating that California's profit's were 1.5 Billion down last year.

Yet it is reported that the Workers' Comp Insurance Carriers in California had a 60 BILLION DOLLAR PROFIT last year, 2009.

A final decision hasn't been made yet.

Insurance Industry has gone crazy! My Anthem policy went up over $3,000 to almost $14,000. Employees pay the difference because California Schools don't have the money. Notibly, there were also cuts in coverage, higher co-pays and deductibles.

I'm disgusted with the Insurance Industrie's greed!

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: WC Insurance Increase California
Now Jayne, if being literal here, how do you know I wear the big girl's panties? If you want to know the truth I wear matching bra/panties and very much like the comfort of the bikini type! LOL!

Ratecraft, Thank you for your comments to my post. This is a frustrating time in the economy. Rates have always been negotiable, but rate increases are also included in those negotiations. In California, SB899 was intended to help the employer, and in many cases it did; at first. But now it is backfiring and the only one seeing profits are the I/C's.

Ok, we are hitting on WAY too much information here. LOL

Thanks Jayne. I do not think he understood the nature of Chris' post. He was not the ordinary China based spammer we see here, but clearly went beyond our no solicitation rules. I have deleted the posts.
