Psychological Evaluation for SSI & SSDI ?
Hello Everyone,
As you may know I applied for SSDI and SSI.I was denied the first go around and now on the reconsideration part.I had to fill out another Pain and Fatigue report and another function report.I also received letters from my senator and congressman saying they could help and expedite the claim so as their request I sent them some of my information. Also my attorney received a letter from determine services from my examiner and SSA wants me to meet with a PSY.D Psychologist for an exam and I am to bring all the medications I am on.Have any of you had to see a Psychologist for an exam to get SSDI?And what are they looking for with this testing to help make a decision? Thanks for your help,Born

To evaluate your emotional and psychological condition and see if it meets a number of specified medical criteria and variables to qualify as impairment under SSDI guidelines.

RE: Psychological Evaluation for SSI & SSDI ?
not to worry Born.......SSDI can be based on a number of things one thing alone may not get it for you but add up 2 or more and it is......just always tell the truth...

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile
