workers comp ( missouri )
Is it a good idea to fight for workers comp? I am afraid of losing my job after i go to medation on the 14th. I work in a factory and I hurt my back. The company turned me down for workers comp because I didn't know what job I was doing when I hurt my back. I move things by pushing, pulling & turning them. At the end of my shift on Fri. that is when I noticed my back hurting, by Monday I couldn't walk, that's when I let my work know. This whole thing is making me sick.

RE: workers comp ( missouri )
every situation is different. every worker has different alternatives.
are you able to provide your own medical?
can you afford the recovery time without a paycheck?
have you discussed it with an atty?

Good Lord pass the Whisky....1171 recommended a lawyer

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile
