Sad relatively simple question... first posting on board...
I have an approved WC case in Pennsylvania. I was in an accident in January and thus far nothing I have needed has really been denied.

The pain has shot up to almost (ALMOST) an unbearable level, after having come down a bit through physical therapy and medications.

My doc is not in till Thursday... if the pain keeps at the level it is or increases, can I go to the ER or do I have to wait till Thursday when my appointment is scheduled?

I ask as I don't want to go and then find out I had to notify someone first and, consequently, end up receiving a large bill.

Thank you

Great! I sort of figured as much, but wanted to be sure I wasn't crossing any lines. Thank you so much for your time and consideration! Smile

PA only has a 90 day captive treatment period. After the 90 days you can treat with whoever you want and it is covered so long as it is reasonable, necessary and causally related.
