Claim Denied. Who pays medical?

On my previous thread I said my claim was denied after being accepted. When I did get a hold of my Attorney I asked him about my Dr. visits coming up and he said do not say anything about being denied. I also have an MRI scheduled, will W/C still cover that? Will I get stuck with the bills? I really don't feel right about going to my Dr. and not telling him I was denied. I have a great W/C Dr. and he seems like he is completely on my side. Before my Attorney obtained this Dr. the other Dr.s just wanted me to rush back to work with all my pain and injuries, this Dr. will not send me back to work and is very sincere about what I'm going through. Do you think its right not to say anything? Will they just find out or what? Do I have a crooked Attorney? Thanks!

Your medical bills are then your bills. Your doctor will have every right to collect from you. Usually he will not see you until your balance is paid up and Of course if he sends you to collection due to non-payment he will not see you at all.

Thanks. It would of been nice if my Attorney would of said something! What about my private insurance? Since it was denied I read that they might be able to pick it up. I really wanted to get this MRI to prove that my back is worse now than before the work injury. I had an MRI done by my Private Dr. about 6 months before the injury.

if you have health insurance then they can step in.
also in california many doctors who are associated with law firms will treat under lien.

Might be a bad idea. What if the MRi is the same ? Then by your logic you aren't injured, right ?

When I spoke with my Attorney he said that I absolutely will not be responsible for my Dr. bills. They will be covered by their insurance, if not they will do it with a lien. I hope he's right, I do have an MRI coming up.
