I was planning on leaving.
My wife and I were leaving on a trip for 2 weeks and was leaving Thursday.. I have been having difficulty breathing, cant seem to keep my breath, low O2 stats along with low fever and cold sweats.. I went to see my dr, he was on call at the walk in yesterday. Ever since my accident I have (word) like folds or pocket in my lower left lung. Constantly getting respitory infections, well they did a exray and then a ct scan and sure enough I have pneumonia and only showed up on left lung. He says I caught it in time and gave me a script for steroids and neb treatments and of course levaquin. He asured me its going to get worse the next few days untill the levaquin starts working. He wants me to take neb treatments every 4 to 6 hours or as needed. So now I dont know if I will be going, I have appointment with the new pain clinic Aug 23rd and would be cutting it close.. I was truley looking forward to getting out of this wc and stress issues.. And the next available time to leave will be Thanksgiving break........Decisions Decisions, oh well at least I'm not hospitalized over this this time.............

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

Good thing you caught this in time. That is all that matters.

RE: I was planning on leaving.
I am glad I was able to catch it in time, and looks like we have to cancle. I was so looking forward to a little relaxation but it will have to wait. My biggest concern is as of yesterday I have no health ins and would be to risky to leave town without.. My last episode in the spring caused me to end up in the hospital for 5 days and of course the $19,000 rental for the room and great meals.... The worse part is the RV is packed and all gassed up and stocked full of food. My son is upset but understands, I told him I would take him to wisconsin dells next week if I am feeling up to it....
