My niece
My niece has lived in my home since whe was 14 yrs.
Last week she had what ER called a heat stroke, although her labs were fine. I spoke with the doctor this morning as since this heat incident happened my niece has been "out of it" not processing information, and sleeping a lot. My niece has a history of kidney problems and shortly after she came to live with me her kidneys went into shut down. She was in a comma for several days before we saw improvement. She also has a severe curve of the upper spine and will be seeing a surgeon for this next month. Well the doctor thinks my neice, Bree is again having kidney problems, and I have been on the phone with the kidney specialist in Kansas City. At this time I am waitting for the nurse to call me back and give me some direction on this. And I have my daughter at home recovering from surgery which has been a challenge, Saturday she spent 8 hours in ER due to not getting ahead of the pain and vomiting. Thursday I return to the wc doctor and either will be referred for another ESI, or will be placed at MMI. |

Bummer, you are such a special person you seem to take a lot on. Please Please remember to take care yourself in the process. I wish I had family here in AZ to help me as you help yours. God bless you! I hope everyone in your family see's how special you are and all get well soon.

My niece's Grandma is on her way to my home to take my niece to the hospital.
There comes a time when one must take action for medical treatment and that is what will be done. |

Bummer, you seem to have a full plate and lots to do. There isnt many like you and I aplaud you for that. Just know you are in our prayers........

If I were a drinking girl this is a day I would be drinking.
My niece is home, the doctors do not have the results of all of the test. It is thought she is having a reaction to one of her bipolar medications, and she is also having problems with her kidneys. |
