Hello, I was previously injured in California during 2006 and settled the Workmans Comp case against the previous employer during June 2009. I recieved a different injury with different employer during 2010, different location on body and not related to previous injury.
Will I be discriminated against if I file a 2nd Workmans Comp claim? My current employer refuses to send me to a doctor and says its my problem. This is a legal claim and am not filing or want to file a false claim, what are my options or rights? |

RE: Injury on new job after previous WC case settlement?
It's a new work comp claim, as long as it's a new injury. File the claim as that is the proper legal way to do it.

you won't be discriminated against at all.
if there is impairment overlap your current employer won't be forced to pay for another's claim. |
