Hi all... I have been sort of sad about all the changes around here.. so today I got this message from an application on facebook that is about what God wants you to know today. I felt it was very appropriate for my current mood and wanted to share it with all of you...

On this day of your life, Carolyn, we believe God wants you to know ... that change is the very nature of life, - welcome it.
No glass ever became sand again; No bread ever became wheat; No ripened fruit ever became a flower. Welcome change, and choose what kind of glass you create, what kind of bread you bake, what kind of fruit you harvest.

I believe for all of us... we have an opportunity to learn from our past issues here and make this forum into whatever we want it to be going forward. I believe it is up to us to do as it said above. It may never be exactly as it was before, but I believe with all of us here.. and all of us that care about this forum and the people here.. that we can carve out a more effective means of sharing information, providing support, and having fun in each other's company. It is up to each of us... lets put our brains, hearts and energy together to make this the best place ever...even better than before. I know we can do it.. if we do it together. What do you all think?

Thanks AQA, Wink, and Kate for all the fun that has occurred on the thread titled "Well..." it brought many smiles and laughter to me as I am sure it did to others... Red

Hi Red

This forum and those on it have been here for me since I joined in 07.
The sharing, the laughter, and the words of wisdom has gotten me thru both tough times, and good times.

I have have made friends that I would not have if not for this forum, and some I have meet in person.

There are a mixture of personalities on this board and with that sometimes conficts arise. I am not one to pass judgement of others, and I do consider all on this forum my friend.

I agree this forum is what we make it and I do pray that those who no longer post will some day return to the forum, and those who have left the forum may one day re-join the forum.

I believe all deserve a 2nd chance.

Bummer...I do agree with you. On the other hand, I believe that there is something to learn from all that has happened. For instance, how did it get to where it got? I have met and enjoyed the friendship of many on the forum and now feel an emptiness that they are not here... but just as it was said about change..sometimes change is needed to learn and grow. Going backwards may not be the answer for them or for this forum. Consequently what I am saying is..lets all look at this as an opportunity to learn and grow together... making this forum maybe not what it was but a new and changed forum that we can all enjoy and feel that our presence makes a difference in the lives of those around us. I hope this makes sense. Red
