At a LOSS
Hello all I hope this finds you well

I don't write often but now i need either advice or just to complain. i am in new york state. i was hurt in April of O7.

i have disc herniations L4 L5 S1. I had my second MRI 2 weeks ago that show compression on the nerve root. I had an EMG last Thursday and the doctor says that there is significant nerve damage in the right leg. My right leg is now giving out without warning. stairs scare me..
I have been out of work for almost 3yrs now and spend most of my days laying down. we are talking surgery but not there yet. The surgeon was waiting for a new MRI and EMG. We meet again in July. Right now the surgeon has me out 100%
The pain management doctor has me at 75%. we have done all the shots with not much help. only about 2 weeks of relief.
i have just been called by my attorney saying that I have court next week and that i need to be looking for work by then or they will be stopping my pay. The surgeon says absolutely no work. Since i have been seen by the PM doctor more recent that they will be going off of his word and not the surgeon. I saw him this morning and he said 75% is as high as he could go and that he would not give me work restrictions because i should not be working. My attorney says thats as long as its 75 i have to look. the IME doc has me at 55%.
has anyone else had this and what can i expect. I had an SSDI hearing 2 weeks ago and just waiting on an answer. I honestly can't think of a job I could do right now, and my doctors agree. How screwed am I?

thanks for you time and I apologize for this being all over the place, thats just where my mind is now..

RE: At a LOSS
Time to request that you surgeon move up your surgery date to yesterday as that is the only means left to keep money coming in and from what you say, it's is absolutely going to happen anyway.
