SCS Trial is over with................
...................and it was very successful!
Just wanted to report this to you who have asked me to keep you informed about the Spinal Cord Stimulator Trial. I knew on the operating table that it was a "go" as I felt instant pain relief in my hands, which I haven't had in 4 years!!!!! I had two leads, one to each upper extremity. The worst part was the insertion of the leads, which is still pretty painful in that area, but getting a little better day by day. Dr. is very pleased and we are going for the permanent implant. The time frame for that will depend on the normal protocol; but dr. thinks within 3 weeks. Happy happy happy happy ! ! ! ! ! ! ![]() If anyone has any personal questions you want to ask about the trial, please PM me. I will tell it all. Otherwise, post your questions here and I will be more than happy to help you, as best I can. Let Go, and Let God...... |

Thanks Admin and 1171. I appreciate your support.
1171, I think the extra port for an add-on is a great idea. You could probably cash in on that one!

RE: SCS Trial is over with................
Hey CC. I have been gone for awhile and just noticed your post. I am glad it worked for you.
You mentioned that you had two lead for the upper extremities. Can you be a little more specific as to were they were place??? I am just curious. As you know mine is for the S1 nerve and it effects the lower back and both legs. My leads were placed around the T7 area. As I said, I am just curious and very happy that it worked for you. 8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom. |
