Has anyone every taken this med? And if so how did it work for you.

While marketed as a muscle relaxant it is not, it''s mainly an anti-cholinergic effect which explains the "side effects" ( actually the direct effects ) of drowsiness, confusion, rapid eye movement etc. Really not recommended.

robaxin and robaxin®-750 are indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of methocarbamol has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Methocarbamol does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.

BTW, there are no skeletal muscle relaxants by prescription. Kind of a drug company myth. Curare does work but has very limited application.
