Repair attempt failed

Hi All,

His blood pressure wouldn't hold steady, kept dropping. After nearly an hour of trying I told them to stop. My dad will be kept comfortable, he will remain on the one medication plus anything else he needs. If he survives the weekend he will be moved back to his nursing home. Hospice has been called in.

He might pull out of this yet but his quality of life will go down. Left ventrical failure due to his leaking mitral valve, heart failure.

I stayed in the heart cath area until they moved my father out. I was not in the waiting room when the surgeon talked to our family. My stepmother did not respond to these words: "After 1 hour of attempt but continued dropping blood pressure Mr. ... daughter had us halt the attempt at repair, I was in agreement. We will keep him on the medication to see if he will make a recovery, but his prognosis is grim."
My stepmother lost it, so she's under arrest, can't assault people, family, surgeon. Charges have been filed, she won't see my dad again without an escort. I'm not too sure how the nursing home will handle this.

I will head home in a couple of hours. I just might get dr........k, I think I've earned. I missed both of my boys Skills USA competitions yesterday.
My autistic son won 2nd place in state Quiz bowl. My youngest, well, he did his best. I will be back on next week, sometime, t'will be nice to spend the night in my king bed.

Builder, I am so Sorry the Procedure didn't Work. Get some Rest Re-Group, and do as You have been, a Great Daughter taking Care of Her Father!! No One can Expect anymore than that from You!!
