;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: broken heart and broken back
Hi Guest, and Welcome to the Forum!! I have Failed Back Surgery and Chronic Pain, along with Severe Arthritic Changes in My Lower Back due to Lack of the Ability of Movement. I have Scar Tissue Issues, and I can't Find a Surgeon, either Ortho. or Neuro. that will try to Re-Operate, and I have seen a total of 10 for Second Opinions before I would Accept My Fate. I was being Litigated at the Time by w/c, and the Judge in My Case Ruled in Favor of My PM Dr. (Pain Management) as the Credible Dr.and it is Clearly Stated: "No More Surgery Unless a Life or Death Situation". If You have an Attorney I would Suggest You Follow 1171's Advice and get a Couple of Second Opinions before any Other Procedures. If You can Show Medical Evidence that another Surgery or Procedure has a Very Good Chance of Causing You Harm, I would Like to Believe that a Judge would Understand and Rule in Your Favor! If You don't have an Attorney I would Suggest You get One, Your Case is getting Touchy and You are going to Need the Legal Help to Stop Them from Closing Your Case should You Decide not to have anymore Tests. My Very Best to You, and I Hope All Goes Well!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!

I take most of those meds to. The only one i had to stop was aspirin and plavix. I was only out a couple hrs for the fusions. I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted and was out all day like 8 hrs but that was because i have sleep apnea and they did not put a cpap on me, but that is why i was out for over 8 hrs.

RE: broken heart and broken back
did you have a heart attack,or may i ask what exactly is wrong with your heart? i hope noone is reading me wrong,i want my back fixed,i don't want to end up a cripple, but when you have one doctor saying you need your back to be ok to walk for your hearts sake and you have another saying if you continue to have to get off certain meds for this and that you risk having a fatal heart attack,i mean whats a person to do????????then to top it off you have to worry about what the w/c people are doing making your life miserable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
