Update, Vic just called, she still sounding grogy after sedation. Surgery was posponed untill Monday morning because of the Easter Holiday. She is going home for the weekend. Will call me after she is home, she said she is starving as hasen't had anything to eat sinse dinner last nite.
The new line is in and she did have some diaylisis, enough to hold her over the weekend.

Red, I asked if she wanted to cancell meeting at Starved Rock. I almost had my head chewed off for asking ROFL Still planning on meeting

Well now, we now know how to peeve off RN don't we?

I know the numerous surgeries my mom had when she was on dialysis, never easy. God has a reason.

May our Lord keep her safe and well.

Tuffy... maybe we should make it on Friday instead. Maybe this would give her more time. I am not sure how to do it as of yet, but I am sure I could make something work. We will slow down the number of hours we drive and maybe get there on Thrusday night and stay two night so that we could see her. MY parent and I are anxious to get to NJ to see the grand kids but we may be able to work something out. Talk to RN...is she really going to feel up to that close of a visit following a Monday surgery. Also where does she live? Are we coming by her home town at all off of I 80... maybe that would work as well.. Let me know ok...it is too late to call you or I would Carol

Red, No everything will be ok for Wed, Gail has to work on Friday, she took Wed and Thur off. I asked Vic and she said she will be there. and no she is 2 hrs south of I-80 and Gail and I are 1 1/2 hr north. She is tired tonight, but home and said she has some pain so was taking a pain med and going to call it a night. So no change in plans. We also needed to arrange it so she can be back for her Dialysis on Friday. She will have dialysis on Wed morning and then head for Starved Rock.
