Getting paid wc while working
Hello, I'm from Texas. The doctor released me to go back to work on light duty and to only work 4 hours a day. My job said that was fine.
My question is since I normally work part time 32 hours a week and now the doctor has me working a lot less. Will I get paid for the time I am missing. I normally work 8 or 9 hours a day.. And also since the doctor did take me off of work. Will I get paid for the time I was off? Thanks |

RE: Getting paid wc while working
yes texas work comp laws require the payment of 70% of the difference in wages. there is a maximum wage cap

RE: Getting paid wc while working
Thanks for your help, with the link. I read over it all.
I spoke with my workers comp rep, and she couldn't really answer my question. She told me that she would have to double check and do more research before she could give me an answer.. |

RE: Getting paid wc while working
Hope you get your pay. My employer cut my wages back in April 2007 and has not paid me the differance yet. It has been ordered by the WC commision but they have appealed so still nothing.
