????s about FCE

RE: ????s about FCE
I had an FCE done the second month after my injury to see what I could or could not do. It was to see how much I can lift, carry, push etc. I did go on the treadmill for alittle bit and the tech. was going over how I should be sitting at my desk typing etc.

When I got my rating for my Permanent impairment I did see the notes and ratings of how I did at the FCE in the report going to the IME doctor before he examined me. That was the only time I ever saw the results of the FCE. I also was very concerned my last few visits at the PM clinic as when the nurse takes my BP it has been very high. I use to be on blood pressure medication but because it was stable I chose to get off them. I do not like to take alot of meds. I asked the nurse if I should be concerned about how high it was and she said " no". I also believe that it can be high due to pain. Seems whenever my pain is really bad , my bp would be higher.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

RE: ????s about FCE
Well the IME is complete, without the FCE.

The IME panel completed the report during the IME but we won't get a copy of it for a few weeks, then we'll have to decide if we are going to appeal. Lots of questions, some tasks/ ROM etc only took an hour though. Drs seemed suprised that certain treatments hadn't been offered, we'll see if its reflected on the report. Overall not a bad experience but that doesn't mean the report will be as good an experience.

Wish us luck!!!
