permanent disability
Hi all,

I have a question regarding closing of my claim. I recently signed a C&R. The insurance co stopped payment on a td payment but has not yet sent another, or sent a letter stating that my payments will stop. Will I receive a letter or do they have to send a payment out until my C&R is signed by the judge?

RE: permanent disability
they are not suppose to settle claims until you have finished your recovery and are declared permanent and stationary. If you are P&S then you should get a benefit letter advising you that TD will stop.

Well I called today I was determined P&S a month ago. And they sent a check 2 weeks ago and stopped payment on it the same day I received it. Now when I called today they stated they are suspending all payments until my C&R is signed by the judge. I asked will I be receiving anything at all stating this and was told NO. Not until I receive my final check or the C&R is returned. This does not sound right and I've asked my attorney and they are telling me yeah that's about right they don't have to send you anything.

RE: permanent disability
not true.
If you are P&S then they have to send advances every 2 weeks (deducted from the settlement).

RE: permanent disability
Who do I contact if they do not send it? Because they told me all payments were suspended until they receive my C&R signed.
