I have been kinda quiet

On here so much going on here at home 2 times this week we have had over 6 inches of snow....last tuesday it melted before noon and was 60 degrees wed....thursday early morning the temps started dropping again and by noon it was snowing and it snowed all nite.....this morn it was still snowing but the temps are starting to rise and expect all snow to go today....the rise and fall of temps drive my back and neck nuts.........not to mention it plays hell with my sourdough bread rising.......
I also got a good news bad news good news call from my daughter Connie...she wont be going to Iraq.........she is going to afganistan and did I want the kids for spring break....so she can prepare to TDY (tempary duty)she has to go to survival school and humvee driving school and small arms retraining school.....so Bill is going to meet my wonderful son in law half way to exchange kids....I really do love him.....while I am in no real shape to take on 6 kids under 10 I will have the help of my Honey and the help of my church......and my friend is coming in off the road for a few days so all will be busy but will help my mind swallow all that is going on.....
Please believe me when I tell you I am very proud of my daughter and her willing ness to serve her country....please believe me when I tell you I am scared spit less...I am a retired military wife and have sent my Honey off to more TDYs than I care to remember,both viet nam and desert storm....I held my 2 month old grandaughter while her mother went to desert storm and now I will hold the hands of her 3 while she goes again.....My heart is breaking with sorrow and pride...know this all off you I dont want to hear one word of how this is a war for oil or bush taking on his daddys war cuz those of us that have fought it or sent our loved ones off in it know it is a war to keep those basturds from coming here and doing a 9-11 again.....Its so each of us can sit and type nasty *****edited by admin***** about our goverment and live in a country free enough to do just that....I dont want to hear its a waste of our young men and women cuz its our brightest and best going to keep us free.....And I have sent more than my share there....
I do want and need your prayers,I need your support when those 6 kids drive me insane and wanna do a oklahoma hat dance on their heads....and I want to you to stand as proud as I do when Connie comes home to take on her kids again....please I need you all to walk this walk with me.....

Jayne I love ya hun, and I am here for ya in any way I can be. Call me if you need me, and by summer I should be there house hunting, so maybe can give you 2 a day pass while i hang out and beat em for ya? If you need me to, I should be able to maybe take a weekend run down, we will see. Connie is in our prayers, and will remain there. You are a strong woman, and raised a strong woman, I am proud to know you. The Lord is watching over the military and thier families hun.

You know I am the "king of neutrality" on the board , but I am squarely in your camp in my beliefs on what this war is about, and the good work that our military is doing.
