Yeah, my doctor is old fashion doctor, been around for years, regardless of his tactics & ways "The w/c doc backed his findings & actions 100%" But I will take advice and when I go see him 2-morrow I will ask him to define my injuries on my level,; )D I am still a bit jittery about all that's happening but I will survive this!!

NO, Like I said previously I do go to a physical therapist they have to be reapproved every few weeks. I did talk with my former manager who is no longer employed there & she informed me she would speak on my behalf, she stated when I was actually falling to the right an ladder was going other way she was just passing to go out the door an heard me an looked an at glance saw me faintly side ways going down.

Ya Think???? lol

here is a hint then.

Ask the manager to give you a written statement to that fact. tell them to apply the date and about what time the seen this take place. And then what did they do from there. Then state what the seen take place with you, like what help you got, from who, and whatever after that. Date and sign it. And send it to you. You copy it. And then send a copy to your attorney....Cool

I know that my husband who is 6' and 172 lbs. fell 2 1/2 feet off of a saw horse on to the concrete after it kicked out from under him, he tore his rotator cuff, dislocated his shoulder, and his entire side was bruised. Now many on here have met Dave and know he is very physically fit, so if he could do this much damage after a fall of only 2 1/2 feet I'm sure that you could have sustained a bad injury falling from the fifth rung of a ladder onto concrete. I would save the text message this SIL sent to you and show it to your lawyer. You also have a witness who is willing to state she saw you fall. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Good luck.

do ya think my attorney can obtain copies of the origanal written statements for us to review from w/c adjuster?? It has been so long for me since the accident & I never did have the oppurtunity to find out exactly who saw what or who heard what actually I never cared about any of that long as I was getting treatment & gettin better, only reason attorney was obtained is because my mom and pop told me to get one that pretty much summ's it up!! also all the actual people that worked that day are no longer employed there. I gave a recorded phone statement a day or so after accident to insurance people now they say there never was a recorded statement an have requested one my attorney has refused for some reason an that's when all this came up about fraud acqusations. Lost in a funnel I am!!

I am certain the defense will get a sworn statement from your sister in law . They might even attempt to get some sub rosa videos.

What exactly did you say to your sister in law? However proof is lacking. More than likely they will investigate that much deeper.

I wouldnt worry Laura....one thing they dont wanna do is anger the judge.....they will ask you questions but if your lawyer alreadys knows and hes not worried than dont you worry....most likely the 2 lawyers are buddies outside the court and have discussed the problem and decided what to do about it...perjury is a serious crime and she will be warned...

It is worth remembering with something like this that the person pointing the finger, if untrue, might be just a very vindictive person. It does not take much to make this sort of person explode and do the nasty on someone else. That is their own way of coping in their own little world. You needn't have said anything specific. Just asking them to leave your home would have been enough.

You have enough advice here, and enough support, to make it through your next steps. If she is truly bent on getting to you, it may not end here. Which is why it is a very very good idea to get that restraining order against her. And do, please, keep a notebook of every future contact with her. Date it, get people to co-sign when they are witnesses, and fully record anything she says. Do not confront her. Make sure that you don't say anything to her that could escalate into something worse. This is, of course, hoping that you got the restraining order.

You sound like an pretty emotional person yourself, so you really do need to protect yourself form these onslaughts. Out of curiosity. Where is your husband in all of this?
