I just had a laminectomy ,been off since 3-3-07 been thru everything,mri,mylegram,nerve tests,another mri,and surgery and wanting some information,from Alabama and thought I read some where when the ama rating is done on back injuries its at 400 weeks and what is the average percentage for this type of injury,thanks

Your States Website should be able to provide you with some info. you may need, and you may also need to consult with an Attorney that deals in w/c. Nurse Case Managers are not always the best people to go to , their job is to get you back to work A.S.A.P, sometimes at the risk of your Health! Try to find this info. from other sources than w/c so you can compare what they say as to what you have learned. Knowledge is Power when dealing with w/c!! Best of Luck!!Wink

in order to compute an average you'd have to know all the ratings and there is no place where all the ratings are available.

I feel for you -GOD BLESS YOU and Family ,I have another question since operation I am still hurting in lower disc ,my numbness is almost gone ,but the pain when like I barely move around its grinding -what is the best way to let the doc know without seeming complaining...........I just want to be right since I am in Maintenance and anticipate I will never be able to do my job again I already had a double fusion C3,456 in 03,04
