Similar types of studies, not just accupuncture but chiropractic versus family Dr, counseling for back pain versus orthopedic consults etc etc. may be demonstrating the sense of well being patients experience from simply being touched or listened to as opposed to a 3 minute audience with a Dr. who constantly interrupts and then rushes out the door leaving a few prescriptions floating in the wake. |
