got a letter today from my second att on my wrongfull termination.they dropped there counter suit against me and want to settle.i find that odd because they fight everything to the death win or lose this is strange seeings i work in a atwill state.but its good get this one past then theres only work comp left to settel.so hang in there to all of you still fighting theres always hope even when you dont think there is.i hope to win the work comp also but you never know.good luck to all hope i can help some with a problem.

why were you fired in the first place, and how do you get a wrongful termination in an at will state?

i was fired after my back surgery-fusion. work comp covered all bills untill dr.said i needed surgery. my dr. sent papers to the state,the state sent me papers telling me to hire a work comp att.then my work comp att sent me to another att. that att words it as retaliatory dicharge so on. im in indiana.its been about a year or two.kinda funny they want to settel now,but i got it in writting.still got the work comp thing,thats been two + years can only hope.
