Do I accept my companys first offer on the Final Admission of Liability - kranman - 09-07-2011 12:03 AM I am a Colorado resident and was injured on the job in May of 2009. Workmens Comp Doctors have determined that I am 8% Permanently Disabled and my company has offered a settlement on the Final Admission of Liability document that I have to accept or file an objection within 30 days. Would it be prudent to accept their offer or file an objection and ask for a pretrial conference in hopes of getting them to raise their offer? I could not get an attorney to take my case because there was not enough money in it for them! I would be representing myself so I would like some advice in this matter. I suggest you get another rating before trying to negotiate. |
