New Forum Record Today - admin - 03-07-2011 10:02 PM

I note that today, at 2:20 PM eastern, we had 165 active users on the board. That breaks the record of 137 set a couple weeks ago. We are seeing quite a traffic surge the last couple months. Thanks for all your help and support!

While I'm glad we set a record and so many people are using the forum for support. I just hope that it's not a sign of the times.

Thanks for all the work you do Admin, you do a great job and don't often get the credit for it. Then there's the little jokes....on you...

Thanks BB. The "little jokes" don't bother me at all. You only pick on those you like....

It's all because of you Admin. Thanks for such a good site. Your wit and humor are an added bonus! Tongue

So Admin......, where did you buy those boots?

Yes this is a great site but I sure hope it's not a sign of more people getting hurt and then screwed by WC

Well I can see it, Jobs are hard to come by up north and the employers take advantage by it. They push and push the workers here, same pay but you work faster and harder to keep your job. Then the injury happens, and where did it get you..??? On wc, and disabled, or not knowing where or when your next meal is.......

RE: New Forum Record Today - bodybuilder1958 - 03-08-2011 10:28 PM

The day I fell at home due to my WC injury my paycheck stopped 2 months later when I ran out of paid benefits. I would of cleared $55,000. that year if not more. Since then the economy hit bottom and our income has dropped every year. It's been a hard adjustment but we've done it together and it's brought our family closer.

Take care, nice to see new people but it also grieves me knowing that others will go thru what we've been thru. Hopefully not as painful, prolonged.

i also noticed that the number of threads on the Injured Worker Forum have surpassed those in the Off Topic this year.
that may be a cause or a consequence.

spammers have obviously noticed as well.
you must be doing something right.
good job.

If more people are getting screwed by WC then maybe the rules will change in the workers favor. I know I'm only dreaming
