Does this make sense? - Bummer Knees - 04-19-2010 09:45 AM I have a court order dated April 1st, authorizing a return visit to the knee surgeon, payment for mileage, and payment for medical bills to a local hospital. I called the doctor's office and the insurance company has authorized payment for the doctor visit. I have not received payment for mileage, and the hospital has not been paid for the bills owed. I visited with attorney Friday and he has filed for a penalty against the insurance company. My question is: Is it common for the insurance company to comply with one part of a court order and ignore the other parts? Is there a reason for them to do this? RE: Does this make sense? - jayne - 04-19-2010 09:55 AM maybe Bummer its in snail mail...they can call the Dr Office but the rest has to be mailed.....
